Israeli Leaders Scold Kerry…………AgainPosted by Eileen Hart on February 4, 2014
Israeli leaders in the Netenyahu Administration and the Knesset, blasted John Kerry again for insinuating that boycotts and delegitimization campaigns will commence if Israel doesn’t reach a sham of a peace agreement with the Palestinians. This statement directly puts the responsibility on Israel to give up more land and to hand over their entire security to NATO forces.
This slight seems to be a way of scaring Israel into a plan that will increase terror attacks on a level Israel hasn’t seen. One of the greatest members of the Knesset and Israel’s Minister of Economics is the leader of the party Bayit Ha Yehudi, the Jewish Home. He was Benjamin Netenyahu’s chief of staff from 2006-2008.
He rebuked John Kerry openly saying “we will not capitulate to “economic threats.” That’s my kind of leader. Gilad Erdan, Minister of Communications suggested that John Kerry was merely “fanning the flames” of economic boycotts. Is John Kerry trying to calm his radical leftist base not to begin their anti Israel divestment campaign until he knows his sham of a deal is in place? Time will tell.
It’s interesting to note that Prime Minister Benjamin Netenyahu is coming off of a big re-election. The pattern of Democrats piling on conservatives after a big re-election is always meant to destroy their credibility in leadership. The Boycott/Divestment/Sanctions movement bullies anyone of prominence who is pro Israel by threatening their careers and their lives if they stand with Israel.
I can only hope and pray that the recent bruising of their ego of Scarlett Johansson standing with soda stream and stepping down from Oxfam International will become an ongoing trend and an example of what standing on principle looks like.
