Message to Obama From Egyptians: Stop Supporting TerroristsPosted by J Craig on July 8, 2013
What does Egypt think of President Obama? Not much apparently. They can see who he is supporting just as we Americans can. As many of you know by now what has been going on in Egypt. Millions gathered to protest the Muslim Brotherhood head President Mohamed Morsi and eventually their military gave the leader an ultimatum to step down. He declined and was then told he was no longer the Egyptian President, but many of the protesters showed their discontent for American President Barack Obama as well.
They feel that he has and continues to throw his support behind the terrorists and Muslim Brotherhood. Cairo-based CNN International correspondent Reza Sayah told CNN’s Jake Tapper that, “It’s no secret that U.S. foreign policy is unpopular in, not just here in Egypt, but throughout the Arab world. Egyptians love Americans, but they don’t love U.S. foreign policy. Remember, they will never forget that for decades, it was Washington that supported the dictator Hosni Mubarak and his brutal police state.”
Both Americans and Egyptians remember it was President Obama who provided F16 fighter jets and billions of American tax dollars to the Muslim Brotherhood. Also remember that it was President Obama who showed his support in the ousting of former Egyptian President Mubarak, but wanted to stay out of their way and keep his hands clean this time around. Of course, why would he want the man he essentially helped get elected to lose his power? Yes, the Mubarak regime was cruel and needed to be dealt with as well, but they managed to keep the peace between Israel and the US unlike Morsi has shown.
Yes people, the Muslim Brotherhood is indeed a terrorist organization. Here is their motto:
“Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Koran is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”
These people have been controlling the Egyptian government and President Obama has continued to show his support for the Morsi regime. Here is how the Egyptians feel about that:
