By now many of you heard that Ed Schultz revised the Holocaust and claimed that Gays were really the victims of the Shoah.  During the show he blurted out on his twitter feed:

“Gay people were really the ones being persecuted in Hitler’s Germany,” Schultz blurted out on his Ed Show Twitter feed at 4:50 PM on May 12.

It doesn’t matter that he quickly deleted the tweet, what matters is that he purported that gays replaced six million Jews who were gassed, burned dead or alive, shot, hanged and tortured during the final solution which was the ultimate goal of the Nazis.  Nazi Germany created the Sodomy provision of their penal code. In Paragrah 175 100,000 men were arrested between the years of 1933 and 1945 and imprisoned for sexual deviancy.  Some were sent to concentration camps, and only 4,000 homosexuals survived.

The number of people considered to be sexual deviants that were persecuted by Hitler and the Nazis does not compare to an entire generation of Jewish men, women and children who were systematically wiped out.

Ed Schultz can revise the Holocaust all he wants. The meticulous records that the Nazis kept housed at various Holocaust museums around, videos, pictures and testimony from the Shoah Foundation of the final solution being aimed directly at the Jews can’t be disputed.

How much lower MSNBC can sink and destroy its own network is entirely up to them.
