LYNCHBURG, Va. — Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) announced on Monday morning at Liberty University that he has thrown his hat into the ring for president in 2016. Cruz has become the first candidate of either party to officially declare his candidacy.

Opening his speech by stating, “I believe God is not done with America, yet”, he began with his family and his connection to his faith as he provided a detailed story about his parents. His mother, who grew up in Delaware and became a computer programmer, while his father was a Cuban teenage rebel fighter that fled the chaos at the age of 18 to America. Moving along, he mentioned his family problems from alcohol abuse to marital problems until his parents had a religious awakening that helped find their faith. “There are people who wonder if faith is real, I can tell you in my family there isn’t a second of doubt because if not the transformative love of Jesus Christ, I would have been raised by a single mother.”

Cruz, the first to officially declare his candidacy via Titter Monday at Midnight, his announcement included a 30-second video of “I’m ready to stand with you to lead the fight, will you join me.” A day before, it was reported by the Houston Chronicle of his official announcement for the presidency will occur on Monday.

Mentioning many conservative principles, Cruz told an energetic crowd of students using ‘Imagine’ at the beginning of each sentence laying out what America would be like if he takes office, as each sentence drew many loud applauses. “Imagine instead of economic stagnation, booming economic growth…Imagine abolishing the IRS…Instead of the lawlessness and the president’s unconstitutional executive amnesty, imagine a president that finally, finally, finally secures the borders…Instead of a federal government that seeks to dictate school curriculum through Common Core, imagine repealing every word of Common Core…imagine a president who stands unapologetically with the nation of Israel…Imagine a president who says we will stand up and defeat radical Islamic terrorism, and we will call it by its name. We will defend the United States of America.”

Cruz mentioned Obamacare, as Monday’s anniversary marks its fifth year into law. Gaining national media attention for his 21-hour filibuster on the Senate floor, Cruz and his vocal opposition of the law led to a tense standoff between Republicans and Democrats. Liberty University is also known for filing a lawsuit once President Obama signed Obamacare into law. Cruz mentioned the failures since it was signed into law of “joblessness, millions forced into part-time work, millions forced into part-time work and millions losing their health insurance and doctor.” Cruz ended by repealing “every word of the Obamacare” come 2017.

Ending his speech, Cruz stated his full announcement with “God’s blessing has been on America from the very beginning of this nation and I believe God isn’t done with America yet. And that is why today, I am announcing that I am running for president of the United States…We will get back and restore that shining city on a hill that is the United States of America.”

A conservative shooting star and firebrand to the Tea Party coalitions, Cruz a first-term senator is seen as a figure who is outspoken, passionate and energetic of his conservative positions to fight against Washington’s status quo. Disliked by some of his colleagues due to his constant pushback against establishment republicans. In 2013, he is known for the 17-day government shutdown as many democrats and some republicans saw this approach of destroying the country due to his battle to defund Obamacare.

His early announcement now puts Cruz in the advantage as he can seize the attention of the tea-party coalition as well as the big donors. Debuting his campaign announcement at Liberty University, an evangelical university, Cruz is also looking to gain traction of evangelical voters with his Christian conservative message to cut through a crowded field. Evangelicals are looking into former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee as their contender as well as former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum.

Cruz, if he wins the nomination and the presidency in 2016 is set to become the nation’s first Hispanic president. Although Cruz was born in Canada, stated by the constitution, he is able to run for president since his mother is a natural born US citizen which meets the standards to run. If Cruz fails to win the nomination or drops out, Cruz will still retain his Senate seat through 2019.

Global Muslim enclaves: Connecting the dots of the Caliphate!

Muslims-carrying-banners-declaring-Islam-will-dominate-the-world-protest-at-the-visit-of-Mr-Wilders-to-the-UKI grew up playing all kinds of harmless board games like Monopoly® or Clue®. Another one of my favorites was RISK®, where players competed against one another to conquer the world one region at a time, one continent at a time. One of the winning strategies was to slowly increase your army strength all across the globe without much fighting until you had enough in a few places to “connect the dots” and then descend on your enemy, decimate them and take over their territories without much harm to your army.

While there is no longer any doubt in our collective minds that Islam has been on a growing spurt for several decades, the manner in which it has chosen to expand is much like a real time game of RISK®. And all of it is happening under the eyes of the West or like others would say “in plain sight”! It seems to me that Muslims have been positioning the dots quietly for a while now.

The next logical move is of course to connect those dots, and I see it happening in three different ways. Two of these ways have been documented in several previous articles of mine as well as my first book on the re-birth of antisemitism (They Have Conspired Against You: Responding to the New Antisemitism).

First, as I have been sharing for about 15 years, the global Muslim demographics are such that many European countries currently are on the irreversible slope of extinction of the natives. Birth rates in Muslim communities have far exceeded those of the natives in at least the last five decades. Several European countries are well below the needed 2.1% child per family to maintain their existence, let alone grow larger. Mark Steyn documented that fact extremely well in his book America AloneDots have been connecting demographically

Second, we can also notice that the dots have connected rapidly in the recent past from an ideological perspective with the advent of the Islamic State. ISIS acts as somewhat of a “clearinghouse” for global Islam and for reasons that would escape most westerners, they are becoming attractive to people that originally had nothing to do with Islam. Worldwide Muslims and new converts are becoming united by this new wave of Islamic ideology (religion, diet, politics, banking, education). The Islamic State has obviously established a barbaric and murderous reputation for itself in no time at all, yet it continues to attract new recruits daily. These new recruits have three main enemies: The Jews, Christians and the West. Dots have been connecting ideologically

Third, there are countries that are predominantly if not completely Muslim and have been for a while such as Afghanistan, Egypt, Libya, Senegal, Indonesia and many more. Then there are countries that have a growing Muslim community, but at a much slower rates. Finally, there are countries that really never had much of a Muslim community until the last few decades, yet they are seeing a blossoming of their Muslim population. This growth is noticeable in countries like Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, the United-Kingdom and France to name just a few from the EU.

The concern that we should have is not so much in the growth but in the lack of integration or assimilation into the European countries named above. It would simply be a case of unwarranted xenophobia for anyone to ask non-natives to get out of the country they emigrated to. Yet currently, we can observe that Muslim enclaves are being set-up and growing in a way that can only become increasingly conducive to tension if not riots.

Sweden is a good example of that trend. More than 50 areas have been identified in that country, where non-Muslims are not welcome and often in danger for their lives. These area are regulated by sharia law, yet they are geographically located in countries that are not sharia compliant, at least for the time being, but I fear a change on the horizon.

Paris, France has some districts like Belleville where non-Muslims feel very uneasy. Marseilles in the south of France also has a very large Muslim community. All in all, there are over 750 Zones Urbaines Sensibles (Sensitive Urban Areas) in France. These areas are places ruled by Muslims that the French government doesn’t control (not necessarily by choice). They are also known as “No-Go zones” and they keep growing in size and number.

But in case you thought that this was a problem mostly confined to Western Europe, maybe you should pay a visit to Dearborn, Michigan. This city has the largest Muslim population in the whole United States and at times, it would seem that sharia takes precedence over the US Constitution. The dots are spreading out on all continents. Dots have been connecting geographically.

We might not see it yet, but as the dots continue to connect and spread geographically, even the most “moderate” Muslims will be forced to chose a side, and where they end up might surprise all of us. Let me be clear and state that multiculturalism, as a way to assimilate or integrate non-native people groups and especially Muslims, has been a failure for the most part.

I was born in Paris, France and came to America 30 years ago. I had learned the language and was very willing to adapt further to the “American Way”. I love America and still believe that it is the best country in the world (yes, I will admit that this last November elections gave me a sense of renewed hope).

I simply believe that if we continue to ignore the connecting of the dots, we will soon be entangled in a web of global proportions. If you have ever observed an insect getting caught into a spider’s web, you have witnessed the surprise, followed by the struggle to escape and the unavoidable slow agony. This is not the way I wish for western civilization to end. The dots are currently connecting and in plain sight. Speak up or get caught!

Finally, I do not want this article to be misunderstood for a racist manifesto against all Muslims. I strongly believe that all Muslims are enslaved by an archaic religious system. The God of the universe can be found on the pages of the Tenach (Old Covenant) in every one of the Jewish books and can also be met on the pages of the B’rit Hadasha (New Covenant). He is known as the God of Israel and wants a personal relationship with all people regardless of their upbringing. He loves mankind enough that He provided a way for Muslims, Jews, Christians and Atheists alike to spend eternity with Him. That way is through the death of Yeshua (Jesus) who is the Messiah (Isaiah 52:13-53:12) and will soon return to reign from Jerusalem.

The first coming and the return of Yeshua…Now those are two dots worth connecting if you ask me!

Chick-fil-A Founder Passes Away at Age of 93

Samuel Truett Cathy, founder of Chick-fil-A has passed away at the age of 93 in his Georgia home early Monday morning. He was surrounded by loved ones.

Cathy rose from poverty and built up this privately held Christian company who is known for closing on Sundays as well as making great chicken sandwiches. He was a principled businessman, creating the business in 1946 and now has more than 1,800 outlets in 39 states and the nation’s capital.

Cathy kept the restaurants closed on Sunday in accordance with his Christian-based belief that employees “should have an opportunity to rest, spend time with family and friends, and worship if they choose to do so,” and described being closed on Sunday as being part of their “recipe for success.”

As TPNN reports: The company’s most profitable day in history was on August 1, 2012, after hate-filled, radical, anti-First Amendment/religious rights pro-homosexual groups launched a failed boycott of the restaurant, after company CEO, Dan Cathy, gave an interview on July 2nd, 2012 in which he defined marriage as being between one man and one woman, as described in the Christian Bible, every other established religion, and society throughout world history for thousands of years.

The homosexual boycott backfired, as pro-free speech groups organized a counter “buycott,” causing cars to be wrapped around the popular restaurants for blocks and causing many of their 1,800 hundred restaurants to actually run out of food.

The company said in a statement that preliminary plans are for a public funeral service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Jonesboro in Jonesboro, Georgia.

Here are what some others have said on the passing of Cathy, including Senator Tim Scott:
